Shane Liu
I'm an iOS and product engineer. I co-founded Dijie, a point-and-shoot camera with a social app, and I'm its CTO. I started as the only software engineer, built the iOS app, and led the small team behind everything from the factory tooling to the website.
What I've done at Dijie
- Shipped the software behind 3,500+ cameras and 600,000+ photo and video uploads, growing from a prototype to $1M+ in annualized revenue.
- Built the first iOS prototype in under a week, and owned every App Store release.
- Built an iOS gallery that scrolls at 120 FPS across libraries with tens of thousands of photos.
- Designed the camera-to-phone-to-cloud transfer pipeline: 99.1% per-file success across 350K+ full-size transfers.
- Cut the time to see a 100-photo import from about 2.6 minutes to 20 seconds.
- Built over-the-air firmware updates (2,800+ delivered) and the factory provisioning system.
- Built the web platform, share links (14,600+ created), the backend, and our internal ops console.
- Interviewed 20+ candidates and hired 4 engineers.
Projects
- Spatial Agents (2026): a prototype for managing many AI agents on Apple Vision Pro. Swift, visionOS, RealityKit.
